Lefort Mobile 1000 Ton

Glazewing Ltd take delivery of a Lefort Mobile 1000 shear baler. The machine, the largest available in the “mobile” range, has been fully refurbished by Lefort Retrofit in Belgium and was recently delivered to their large processing site in Norfolk. It was set straight to work on arrival in a new part of the yard, taking the place of two existing shears.

Director Jason Minns had the following to say after its first week of production “We are all very pleased with the machine and with Lefort UK. The installation and commissioning were hassle free and the machine is easily keeping up with the shearing that was previously done by two shears”

Glazewing are now eagerly awaiting the delivery in 2020 of their new Lefort TRAX 1000 shear baler, that was ordered at the same time as the Lefort Mobile 1000. The TRAX range of machinery by Lefort can be moved around the yard by the flick of a switch and have proved very popular in Europe since their launch in 2016. Again the largest in the range is the TRAX 1000, with a 7.0m pre-compression box and 1000T cutting capacity.
